When you are injured on the job
- Get medical attention immediately
- Have co-worker call ambulance if necessary
- Do not let the boss talk you into taking it easy and stay at work - They are not health care specialists
- Injuries have a way of showing up a day or two later, take the injury seriously
- Do not leave Doctors office without excuse from work
- Call the Union Office and inform them of the injury
- You are entitled to be paid for the day that you are injured under the contract
